Gojiberry Alternatives (2026): Signal-Based Outbound Compared
Gojiberry finds people showing buying signals and writes to them, mostly on LinkedIn. Here's how the alternatives compare if you want signals over email, a cheaper sending tool, or a fully done-for-you agent.
Full disclosure: I'm the founder of Selamly, which does something close to Gojiberry, so I'm not neutral. I'll say plainly where Gojiberry is the better choice. Prices are from each company's own pricing page in November 2026, billed monthly unless noted.
What Gojiberry does well
Gojiberry is an AI sales agent built around timing. Instead of handing you a database, it watches for buying and social signals (its pricing page lists 15+), filters the people behind them against your ideal customer, and writes the outreach. Its PRO plan is $99/month with 2 AI agents, up to 1,800 people reached a month, and enrichment across 15+ providers. Campaigns run over email and LinkedIn.
The idea is right: the best moment to write to someone is just after they've shown they have the problem you solve. If you sell to people who are active on LinkedIn and you're happy to connect your LinkedIn account, it's a strong tool.
Why people look for an alternative
- They don't want to connect their personal LinkedIn account to an automation tool, or their buyers aren't active there.
- They sell to small businesses whose owners read email, not social feeds.
- They already have a list and only need a cheaper way to send.
- They want a different kind of signal, such as a company hiring for a role, opening a new location or launching a product.

1. Selamly: signals, but over email
This is the tool I build, so weigh it accordingly. Selamly works on the same idea, writing first to people with a reason to hear from you now, but it's email-first and doesn't touch your social accounts:
- You enter your website. The agent works out what you sell and what your best customers have in common.
- It reads each candidate company's website and scores the fit; poor fits are never emailed.
- It checks every day for signals: someone describing the problem you solve or asking for a recommendation, a company hiring for the role you replace, a launch, a new location. Companies with a fresh signal go to the top.
- It finds the right person's work address and verifies it, writes a short email that opens with the signal, sends one follow-up, and brings back the replies.
- Sending domains and mailboxes are set up and warmed up for you.
Where Gojiberry is the better pick: if your buyers live on LinkedIn and you want connection requests and messages there, Selamly doesn't do that. We decided early not to automate anyone's LinkedIn account.
2. lemlist: if you want to run multichannel yourself
lemlist's Email plan is $69/month ($55 billed yearly) with up to 50,000 emails a month; Multichannel, which adds LinkedIn, calls and SMS, is $109/month ($87 yearly). Buying signals and data enrichment are paid add-ons ($29 and $20 a month). You choose the leads and write the sequences, with AI help.
Good fit for a small sales team that wants control over every step.
3. Valley: if LinkedIn is the whole game
Valley focuses on LinkedIn outreach with AI-personalised messages. Starter is $199 per user a month ($149 billed quarterly) and is LinkedIn only; email sending starts on Plus at $299. It's priced for teams that already know LinkedIn works for them.
4. Instantly or Smartlead: if you already have a list
If you don't need signals and already know who to email, a sending tool is the cheapest option. Instantly's Growth plan is $47/month for 5,000 emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts, with unlimited mailboxes and warm-up; its lead database is sold separately. Smartlead's Base plan is $39/month for 6,000 emails and 2,000 contacts. You bring the list and write the emails.
What we learned about signals
We built our signal layer over the past weeks and ran it on our own outreach first. Three things held up:
A signal has to be about the problem, not just the company
"Company raised money" or "company was in the news" is easy to find and rarely gives you anything to say. The signals worth opening an email with are the ones where a person has just described the exact problem you solve, or a company is hiring for the job you'd do for them.
Fresh beats strong
A great signal from six weeks ago is weaker than an ordinary one from yesterday. We now drop signals after a few weeks and check every day for new ones.
Most companies have no signal, and that's fine
On any given day only a small share of good-fit companies show a signal. The rest still get a short, honest email about why they fit; signals decide who goes first, not who gets written to at all.

How much does Gojiberry cost?
Its PRO plan is listed at $99/month with 2 AI agents and up to 1,800 people reached a month. Larger plans are custom. Check its pricing page for the current trial terms.
Is there a Gojiberry alternative that doesn't use LinkedIn?
Selamly works the same way, finding people with a reason to hear from you now and writing to them, but over email only, so nothing touches your LinkedIn account.
What is a buying signal in outbound?
Something that shows a company may need what you sell right now: a person describing the problem you solve, asking for a recommendation, a company hiring for the role your product replaces, a launch or a new location.
Are signal-based tools worth it for a small business?
If you send to a few hundred companies a month, yes: writing first to the ones with a fresh reason usually gets more replies from the same number of emails. If you only email a handful of known accounts, you probably don't need one.
